Members of the Riyadh Chamber's Board of Directors choose Ajlan Al Ajlan as Chairman

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber, held on the evening of Wednesday 06 June 2018 AD, to choose a president for the chamber, resulted in the majority of the members voting for Ajlan bin Abdulaziz Al Ajlan as president of the chamber, completing the remainder of the period specified for the seventeenth session.

Ajlan Al Ajlan became the successor to Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, the former Chairman of the Chamber’s Council, who gained royal confidence, and was appointed Minister of Labor and Social Development.

It is noteworthy that since the issuance of the royal decision to appoint M. Ahmed Al-Rajhi as Minister of Labor, the members of the Riyadh Chamber’s board of directors, who became 18 after the accession of well-known businessman Saad Al-Khorayef, to replace Al-Rajhi by a decision from the Minister of Commerce, began to move to determine who will be their next president.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber, Ajlan Al Ajlan, noted his pride in the confidence of his colleagues, members of the Council, stressing the keenness of the Board of Directors and the General Secretariat of the Chamber to continue to enhance the role of the Chamber in serving the private sector, and its active participation in achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince.

The businessman Ajlan Al Ajlan has more than 47 years of experience in trade. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajlan and Bros. Group of Companies, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of several Saudi, European, American and Chinese companies. In his CV there are memberships, including a former member of the Commercial Committee in the Riyadh Chamber, a member of the Real Estate Committee. In the Riyadh Chamber, a former member of the Committee for Combating Commercial Fraud in the Riyadh Chamber, a member of the Board of Directors of the State Authority for Minors and Their Equivalents, Member of the Raghba Charitable Society.
